I saw a faerie.
Yesterday on my bus. it was the morning ride. Dark and cold and quiet. I was listening to music on headphones, and I heard a scream. No one else acknowledged it so I turned around and it was there, in the seat diagonal from me.
It looked...humanish. In a way. But it had dark fur, and black eyes. It was staring at me and had a huge, toothy grin. It had really big pointy teeth. It had a look on that seemed kind of hungry and slightly amused. Like..."I know you can see me. I know no one else can."
I turned around quickly, because honestly, I was pretty freaked out. When I finally looked back, it was gone.
Whatever the hell it was, it wasn't friendly. I know looks are decieving sometimes, but this...was just not friendly.
I've seen weird things before, little flashes of light like will-o-the-wisps but they were just flashes. Not so real, ephemeral. But this thing was solid.

I'm considered healthy.
I'm with my friends (on the internet, pft I have no life).
and right now thats enough.

This week, I:

-Almost fell asleep in my closet.
-Got spit on by an asshole in my english class.
-Almost got detention.
-Got a B on my math test.
-Ate a cooked tomato stuffed with a bunch of random stuff my dad found in the fridge.
-Told a random kid in the hallway "ICH LIEBE DICH!". He replied back "I feel the same way about you!"
-Decided to tell the random kid 'I love you' in a different language every day. I can recognize him from his hi-liter yellow shoes.
-Made a myspace
-Added the girl I like as a friend.
-Had her accept my request.
-Asked her advice about something.
-Had her reply and seem genuinely concerned for my wellbeing.
-Squeaked happily.

The most fucked up hot chocolate ever

I put water in the microwave to make hot chocolate because it always cheers me up to drink hot chocolate.
the water didnt get hot enough so all the mix stayed at the top.
I microwaved it again and the chocolate turned into one solid layer.
I broke it and mixed it, but it wouldnt dissolve right.
I added some soymilk.
It started bubbling. Like, a lot. More than when you just pour a glass of soymilk.
I drank some anyway.
Madi convinced me to add salt.
I tried it and almost puked.
She told me how gullible I am.
I added more milk to try to fix it, but it still tasted nasty.
Finally, I added sugar because Mira told me to.
It's....almost edible.

[18:10] Jei: oh, guess who rubbed detritus on their face!

I think she won for the single handedly weirdest statement ever. Way to go, jei. In case you're like me didn't have any idea what detritus was, it's non-living organic matter that
typically includes the bodies of dead organisms or fragments of organisms or fecal material. Yum, detritus!

She's actually not /that/ weird (though she did make the detritus into a mustache and beard). Anyone who rubbed it on their face got extra credit in science class.

I'm feeling so incredibly uncreative right now, which especially sucks because I have a short story due on tuesday that is only partially done. The biggest section, which includes the rising and declining action as well as the climax, is barely developed. If I fail reading, I guess I'll know why.

Science Experiment!

We (well, my mum, since I have no luck with food at all and if I had cooked it it probably would have exploded) successfully cooked a giant rising pancake.
At first it looked like it wasn't cooking right since it was uneven and bubbly and had pocket of what looked like uncooked batter, so we cooked it a bit too long. The uncooked batter looking stuff was actually butter. Yum, fat!
It came out better than expected. It tasted better than a normal pancake. I drowned my chunk in syrup anyway.

Let me know if you want the recipe.

I love the way shes always pushing the hair out of her face.
I love how confident she always looks.
I love how shes so tiny but stronger than me, stronger than anyone I know.
I love how she's always play-hitting Frank.
I love that way she walks.
I love how she talks.
I love how she looks when she wears her baseball cap.
I love how she knows and doesn't hate me.
I love how if I talk to her, she'll actually talk back. She won't ignore me.
I love how shes everything I wish I was.

Monsters

There's the movie monsters. The vampires and werewolves and things that go bump in the middle of the night. But they're fake and they don't scare me. Do they scare you?

I find the real monsters much worse. They aren't hairy or scaly with pointy teeth. That's the problem-they look like us. They hide among us until the time is right. Are those perfectly dressed cheerleaders over there really so innocent? What about our star football player? Do you know what they really do? How they really act? I do.

The real monsters will bully you and harass you to the point of no return. They'll push you off the edge of breaking down. They'll laugh as they make your life a nightmare. A living hell. They'll make you do terrible things. They'll find it oh-so-fucking-funny when they see those scars on your wrists from that night they made you go home and cry with the knife or keys or razor in your hand. The night you wanted to feel anything other than the sadness and hopelessness and rejection they cause. The night you were even willing to feel pain to make all that sadness go away.

So, I ask again. Does that scaly thing under your bed scare you? If it still does, you're a lucky one. The lucky ones won't relate to this. But I've seen the real monsters. They're all around me, even in my head. The real monsters are much worse. And that silver bullet and wooden stake won't come in handy up against them.

My teacher made us write about monsters yesterday, so of course last night at like. 2 in the morning I woke up with a flash of inspiration and just HAD to write. It sucks, but I felt like posting it anyway. Critique?

It was last year. Or maybe the year before. I don't remember. I was Raven's birthday party. It was her, me, Christina, and Sara. I suspect Sara though Christina and I were insane. We were trying to cast spells. Christina and I found Raven's Good Faeries/Bad Faeries book. We were reading the bad faeries side, but couldnt finish because it was getting dark and we were getting scared. Then we felt something weird and thought the faeries were coming to get us. We were really freaking out and thought to close the door the the faery world we had to finish reading the book. We all held hands and read out loud by candle light.
For Christmas this year I got the book, and I was reading the Bad Faeries part again today. I wasn't scared of anything. I guess the scary things can't get at you during the day.

Now that everyones gone

I can relax. :]

There was a badbadbadbad thunder storm last night.
I was on the phone with Madi
And all of a sudden the phone was all jfsjkfjsdhf. And it vibrated.
And my mom came running in and was all "Get off the phone. Theres too much thunder."
But it was fun anyway.
I was never on the phone that long.
But I screamed in Madi's ear.
Because my cousin who's six came running in out of nowhere screaming.
He scared me.
All the adults were playing cards.
And I pissed them off by taking way too many pictures.
Butohwell.
